Inspection & Return Policy
Commercial wholesale inspection protocol, transit damage reporting, and dispute resolution guidelines for Ramnad Agro.
1. Nature of Agricultural Commodities
As an agricultural wholesaler dealing in natural, semi-perishable, and agricultural farm produce (coconuts, pulses, seeds, natural fiber brooms), all sales are finalized once produce is inspected and accepted at delivery.
2. Mandatory Inspection on Arrival
Buyers or their authorized warehouse agents must thoroughly inspect consignments immediately upon vehicle arrival at the destination point before unloading:
- Verify outer bag counts and compare against the vehicle consignment waybill (bilty).
- Inspect produce bags for any transit water ingress, bag tearing, or physical crushing.
- Record any discrepancy on the transporter's delivery copy before vehicle release.
3. Discrepancy & Claim Notification
In the event of quality deviation exceeding agreed commercial tolerance limits (e.g. transit moisture damage or broken goods), the buyer must submit written notice with photographic evidence within 24 hours of vehicle arrival. Our management will review the documentation against godown loading logs and offer appropriate credit adjustments or replacement stock on subsequent orders.
